What is WWBOTA?
WWBOTA is Worldwide Bunkers on The Air. It is a new amateur radio awards scheme open to radio amateurs and shortwave listeners worldwide. The aim of the scheme is to assist with the coordination of national Bunkers on The Air schemes, maintain the WWBOTA ‘master’ list and to manage WWBOTA awards (see the link in the top menu). Additionally, WWBOTA may be able to offer advice to national representatives wishing to start their own national schemes (see the New Countries menu item above).
Presently WWBOTA supports United Kingdom Bunkers on The Air (UKBOTA), Belgian Bunkers on the Air (ONBOTA), Czech Republic Bunkers on the Air (OKBOTA), North Macedonia Bunkers on the Air (Z3BOTA), Albania (ZABOTA), French Bunkers on the Air (FBOTA). Norwegian Bunkers on the Air (LABOTA) and Italian Bunkers on the Air (ITABOTA).

WWBOTA Master List Updated
The WWBOTA Master List has been updated to include FBOTA, ONBOTA updates and UKBOTA updates.The French references are live from 1st November.

A very warm welcome to French Bunkers on the Air who will be joining the WWBOTA family on 1st November 2024. Two activations are planned for that day.
